Casino Solei, located in Umag, Croatia, became one of few fully licensed land-based casinos in Europe to offer real money gaming online. In the early sixties, Croatia became the first country in the Communist block to legalize casino gambling. The country's long gaming past lead to the creation of the Croatian Gaming Board, whose regulatory committee continues to keep a close watch over the operations of land-based casinos, including Casino Solei's operations in Umag. |
